This is a unique site. Galearpe is the best place to rest I have ever found in my life. A great spot to relax with your family and dears.

Galearpe is an old farm house. First settlement likely around 1650 and final construction end of 18th century. At the beginning of 20th century was completely surrounded by agricultural land with vines, olive trees and other kind of nuts and fruit trees. We restored Galearpe few years ago with a strong focus on preserving the original values of this place after more than 5 decades of full abandon. You can still find the original oven in the house, several remains of fireplaces and an old stone sink. 300 meters from the house there is still an ancient small stoned walnut-drier tower. We consider the area a place where peace and silence are at the utmost.

You will be immersed, in total privacy, into the nature far away from the busy life. We are at the heart of Casentino, a land of history and faith.

We are at the heart of Tuscany. Less than 50 kilometers away there is the famous Chianti route. Villa Galearpe stands on an hill 576 m high, deep in the green valleys of the Casentino. The landscape alternates between large forests in the mountainous areas and plains and hilly areas on the valley.

This Villa is a cosy and intimate retreat in a fascinating location, secluded and peaceful, ideal for a romantic getaway or for those wants privacy, for those wanting to experience nature in its most authentic and pristine essence but, at the same time, spend it in a luxury residence with private pool and fireplace. The house is on two levels connected by an internal staircase with elegant, hand-crafted bannisters. All Rooms offer views to the patios and garden.

In the kitchen you find absolutely everything you need in terms of cooking ware. You also can choose to have meals between two indoors dining areas, one outdoor dinning area with barbecue or another one by the pool area.

The area is fully immersed in the nature and the wood is visited by different kind of pacific wildlife animals like deers, boars, badgers, porcupines. All amenities around the villa allow our guests the top of the comfort and a touch of luxury but always with the needed respect for the nature, history, atmosphere and charisma of the site.
